An interesting maiden, where two horses from powerhouse yards look likely to dominate the market.

Impeccably bred Headmaster was easy to back on debut, but ran well. The other, Kaleido also has a big chance, however neither look world beaters, so a chance is taken with Lone Warrior, who may just improve past that pair.

Lequinto is in rude health at the moment and it may be unwise to take him on, but this represents a drop in class for maiden Valsharah, and there’s no doubt his form is good enough to feature in this type of race, especially from a good draw.
