Matt Polley previews his best bets for Monday’s action.
13:02 SOUTHWELL
Roger Rarebit will most likely be popular to follow up his win at Warwick, but consistency is not his strong point.
Whatsyourproblem is also a contender. He wasn’t beaten far over course and distance last time.
There could be some value in Duhallow Tommy. He won’t mind any further rain, he’s also had his wind tweaked, but most importantly he’s been given a chance by the handicapper.
DUHALLOW TOMMY (WIN)
19:00 WOLVERHAMPTON
Corundum has been popular in the market in his last two starts but still remains a maiden.
Law Supreme likes it here and will run his race, however because of his mark, he’s probably not win material.
Stipulation looks the way to go here. Wolverhampton is not the easiest track for hold up horses, but if he can get a handy position off a strong pace, he should come home to good effect.
STIPULATION (WIN)
