Matt Polley previews the action on Monday with his best bets of the day.

Little Wren will likely be all the rage here after winning comfortably at Fakenham last time. Impossible to say she can’t follow up here off a basement mark, but it’s a different test.

Minella Kaiser is open to a lot of improvement. He’s a big horse, who has taken a while to get going, hence only five runs to date. He looks an out and out stayer, and that could be what’s required here.

Harare is in cracking form. He is however up in the weights, and the mud could be an issue.

Comanche Magic has a chance and is open to some improvement.

It’s worth taking a chance on Three Dons. His chance will be enhanced if he can get a soft lead. He’ll handle the ground, and could be hard to catch on this tight track if he gets rolling in the straight.
