TODAYS TIPS (MONDAY)

Matt Polley previews two races from Taunton to kick start the week.

15:10 TAUNTON 

Postponed Legacy has won three of his last four starts, but still hasn’t reached a mark of a hundred. His limit is unknown.

Tilehurst isn’t really bred for this, but shows ability, along with Siam Park who is back hurdling after a tumble over fences.

A flyer is taken with top weight Moutarde. He’s been keeping higher company than this, and this track and ground will definitely suit him, and add that to his tumbling mark, he could go well.

MOUTARDE (E/W)

16:10 TAUNTON 

Special John is interesting back over hurdles from a handicapping point of view. This test may be a bit sharp for him.

Hard Stare is a potential improver at this trip, and his pedigree suggests good ground will suit.

Walkinthepresent has surely shown enough to think he can win a race of this nature off his current mark. This looks a prime opportunity to get his first win on the board.
