Rappers Delight has gone close twice before and looks a winner waiting to happen, will be bang there but may need to eke out a little bit of improvement still. Miss Mendoza is a very speedily bred debutant being out of a Group 3 winning sprinter and a high class stallion, could be a very exciting recruit for the yard going forward.

Uncertainty brings a solid amount of form with two good runs on good to firm either side of a disappointing performance albeit on Heavy so probably excuses regarding that run, likely to run her race again here but has been found wanting for win purposes before so may be a solid place angle but will need to find the improvement to be capable of winning this. Sydney Rock made a smart debut when finishing second but looked every bit a Stayer that day and may find this track too sharp, will be doing her best work at the end but will be a nice horse to keep on side for next season when going into middle distance plus contests. Two debutants Prancy Peer and Lovers Leap both could be suitable angles for this contest for an each way play with the selection being slightly in favour of Lovers Leap, dam was a winner at listed level and this looks a suitable race to introduce a debutant, drawn 1 if she can get off to a level break she'll be in a nice position to strike turning for home if good enough.
