A rare Friday night outing for the ITV cameras as they take in 7 live races from Wolverhampton.
17:30 WOLVERHAMPTON
Coachello produced a solid effort to finish third last time out and that should stand him in good stead for another solid effort here. His last win came over this course and distance and with the same talented jockey in the saddle. Off an attractive mark he comes here with a decent each-way chance.
Recent winners Zoulu Chief and Kullazain look obvious dangers as does six year old Eminency who takes a drop in grade.

18:00 WOLVERHAMPTON
A wide open contest where a case could easily be made for at least half of the field so a chance is taken on two runners who could go well at each-way odds. First up we have former course and distance winner Aiming High who did far better than the finishing position may suggest when last seen. A drop in grade and hailing from a yard inform more can be expected. Another runner who's trainer has hit a hot streak is Jodhpur Blue who makes their first trip to Wolverhampton and tackles this distance for the first time. Not the most prolific but showed glimmers of hope recently.

18:30 WOLVERHAMPTON
Now back to his last winning all-weather mark after an encouraging second placed effort Metaverse has enough talent to go well, just as long as he's capable to convert that form onto Wolverhampton's surface.
Dosman could outrun their current price as could Best Rate.
METAVERSE (E/W)
19:00 WOLVERHAMPTON
Despite their current double figure price Brunel Nation shouldn't be overlooked. Competed at a much higher level as a three year old and drops down to this grade for the first time in a long while. Below his last winning mark, from a yard who's operating at a 25% strike rate and has a decent draw in stall 2. Far from a guarantee but ticks plenty of boxes and looks drastically overpriced.
Another who should be there or thereabouts is Ziggy's Condor who, despite not being ultra-prolific, always produces a solid showing.

19:30 WOLVERHAMPTON
Despite the burden of top-weight a chance is taken on the Jim Goldie trained Abduction who holds a 50% strike rate here at Wolverhampton and is unbeaten over this course and distance. At the age of eight he might not be the force he once was but his attractive handicap mark reflects that and if anywhere near his best is more than capable of going close.
Ash Wednesday is another course and distance victor who looks the most likely threat.

20:00 WOLVERHAMPTON
Many feel concerned about this extended trip for Charlie Johnston's Benacre however he has finished third over this track and trip previously. Now 7bs below his highest winning mark and with the talented Jason Hart booked for the ride it's not inconceivable he'll go well.

20:30 WOLVERHAMPTON
A drop in grade looks a positive move by connections of Arcadian Nights who produced a decent run to finish 4th two starts back. A fair mark and capable at this level.
Hitched and last time out winner Tonal look best of the rest.
