TV TIPS (SUNDAY)

13:45 NEWMARKET

With half the field unbeaten and the majority of the runners holding strong form it’s such a tough contest to call.

The likely favourite looks set to be Falakeyah after her dominant debut victory at Wolverhampton. It’s hard to know just how good her opposition is but she deserves her spot at the head of the market.

Sand Gazelle and Trad Jazz tick plenty of boxes and look to hold credible each-way claims.

A tentative selection but the favourite just about gets the vote.

FALAKEYAH (WIN)

14:00 SALISBURY

There may only be four runners set to go to post but this could be one of the toughest races to call on ITV.

Anthelia made plenty of mistakes on her debut but she still came out on top. She’s likely to improve leaps and bounds for her debut but can she overcome the 5lbs she has to give to her rivals.

The remaining trio are all set to make their first appearance on a racecourse and as such could be absolutely anything. Trainers Richard Hannon Jr and Ollie Sangster have a good record with their two-year-olds and none can be discounted.

Anthrlia’s form has to count for something and she seems the safer option with either of the Sangster runners the most likely to follow her home.

ANTHELIA (WIN)

14:20 NEWMARKET

With the royal blue of Godolphin doing the business in yesterday’s showpiece race the Appleby and Buick combination can do so again.

The well travelled Cinderella’s Dream produced a very credible second when last seen and she looks set to go one better.

Elmalka and Running Lion seem her only realistic opposition.

CINDERELLA’S DREAM (WIN)

14:35 HAMILTON

Kitteridge looks the obvious choice having done well in much better races than this in the past. Now upped in trip this new distance should suit and could be the telling factor to see him come out on top.

Handicap debutant Alnayef looks interesting and might be the best each-way alternative.

KITTERIDGE (WIN)

14:55 NEWMARKET

Artistic Star was woeful when last seen on a racecourse but it’s safe to say his all-weather record leaves a lot to be desired. Should appreciate his previous run and like to strip much fitter for that outing. A major player now back on turf.

The dual purpose Liam Swagger claimed third at this years Cheltenham Festival and did well when returning to the flat. One for all shortlists.

15:35 NEWMARKET

Despite the noticeable quality in this years 1,000 Guineas it’s seen by many as a match race between the undefeated duo of Lake Victoria and Desert Flower. It’s hard to pick between the two so it might be a more logical option to hunt for one at a bigger price.

Remaat wasn’t far away when a staying on third in the Nell Gwynn. She handles the course and this step up in trip are both huge positives and hailing from a yard with a recent Gluiness victory should stand her in good stead to go well at a price.
