With live racing from the Curragh shown on RTE this Saturday we've decided to preview the entire card. 13:20 CURRAGH
We kick off Saturday's card at the Curragh with an open looking maiden.
Race experience can count for a lot here and as such a chance is taken on Slaudeen who wasn't far away when fourth on debut. He should come on for that run and is capable of making the frame.
The biggest dangers should come in the form of the unraced Brussels who represents powerhouse connections as well as the Ger Lyons trained Learntodiscover.

Former course winner Siege Of Troy will appreciate a return to this venue but the extended 1m4f trip will be enough to put pay to his chances and the best he can expect is minor money.
The ones to note are fellow course victor Trustyourinstinct who's last victory came in a Group 3 contest over this trip and should have plenty in his favour as will Romzina who struggled over further last time out but will appreciate this trip.
It's hard to split the duo who stand out from the rest, but the slight weight discrepancy swings the vote in favour of Dermot Weld's runner but we couldn't put punters off a cheeky reverse forecast either.

Mashhoor and stablemate Retracement represent trainer Johnny Murtagh and the pair have serious claims. Mashhoor is a former course and distance winner who's won a Group 3 contest over this track and trip and looks to be on a handy mark. Retracement is a new recruit from the yard of William Haggas and should appreciate both the trip and ground. If the switch in scenery sparks improvement he's one to look out for.
Dutch Gold is another course and distance winner who's weighted to go well but the dual-purpose Nürburgring as well as four-year-old's Aeronautic and Himalayan Heights are the ones to fear most.

Storm Boy looks set to be the likely race favourite and although he's shown plenty of promise his level of consistency is a major worry.
Horses with previous course winning form look to have the race between them with the best likely to be My Mate Alfie who'll improve on his seasonal reappearance when second. Ger Lyons runner always runs a solid race and looks the one to be on.
Big Gossey and the filly Vespertillo both look drastically overpriced and if you're a punter looking for ones to go well at big odds I couldn't put you off either.
Of the UK based contingent Grand Grey looks the best chance of toking the race back to English soil.

With 19 runners set to go to post I've compiled a short list of four that I think could do well at bigger odds.
Coeur d'Or wasn't miles behind when seventh in this race last year and although he returns off the same mark could sneak into the frame.
Lord Church went well on stable debut when third at Limerick last month. The interesting jockey booking of Oisin Murphy also sparks interest as he can go close once more.
If the rain began to fall you could be far more confident about San Aer but he always has a good run in him and despite running over hurdles last time a small stakes play on this lively outsider looks in order.
Course and distance winner No More Porter tends to be aimed at a big handicap but the tricky thing is deciphering which one he'll pop up in. Not at his best on both turf starts to far but he's now below his last winning mark and with all of his career wins coming here at the Curragh he'll appreciate a return to this venue.
Orandi, Slieve Binnian and Serialise look best of the rest.

Despite not holding an abundance of wins Secret Magician has a brilliant course record here at the Curragh. No residing off bottom weight and a very attractive mark there's every chance they'll return to form.
Another horse with a decent record at this track, despite never winning here, is Four Blondes. Perhaps hard to know when she'll be on a going day but with a run now under her belt this season she might be ready to strike.
A mention has to go to Merisi Diamond who went well last time and the lightly raced Marakesh.

Jagged Edge shook off their maiden tag at the second time of asking and now making his handicap debut looks the obvious choice. Representing a major trainer he should be hard to beat.
The biggest threat looks to come in the form of Clive Cox's Shameful who's likely to make the frame.
Of the rest Far From Dandy and East Hampton should be fighting it out for the minor placings.

We started the meeting with a maiden and we end it with one where the Joseph O'Brien trained Valorous Power gets our vote. Was very unlucky when meeting traffic problems on debut but still showed guts and determination to power home to finish in fourth. This step up to 1m2f is certainly going to help and although the likes of Propose and Esherann are clear contenders we're hoping our selection has two much for the rest.
