Alan Morris picks out a duo worth following and should be a must for your trackers. PAGGANE (F Bramley) Faye Bramley has made a good start to her training career and acquiring the 137-rated 6yo mare Paggane from Willie Mullins at the sales for 100k is a sign of intent for owners and trainer alike.

She made her debut for new connections last Sunday on the flat based on her first three runs in France from 2022 and ran on well from behind to finish 3rd over 12f from an unsatisfactory flag start. There is scope to improve further on the flat over 14f and 2m but connections may wait for further cut in the ground. Paggane wasn’t on the downgrade for Willie Mullins and she also has scope handicapping and in listed mares’ chases and back hurdling. GUERNSEY ANGEL (P D Evans) David Evans pitched Guernsey Angel into a good-looking class 3 maiden fillies stakes for 2yos on debut and that wouldn’t be his usual hunting grounds for success. From a speedy family the trainer knows well she showed enough to suggest he can find an opportunity in time for the filly. Initially steadied, she took a keen hold and progressed to lead and beat the other three on the near side that were fragmented and disadvantaged and wasn’t given a hard time in 6th as an impressive winner romped away on the far side. We’ll need to monitor the strength of the form but she should an opportunity on this showing.
