Alan Morris takes his weekly look back at the past seven days of action and pinpoints two runners you should be paying close attention to. Here's which duo he's added to the Racing Daily hotlist! MADEMOISELLE (G Scott)

Mademoiselle travelled very well on her seasonal reappearance despite being unconsidered in the market, finishing  a never nearer second over the sharp 5f at Goodwood 24th May. She has clearly trained on and has handicapping scope despite two wins at two, and could progress to Listed status here or abroad. 5f looks ideal for now, her best form so far has not had firm in the title, but it is early days on that score.

MISS SHOW DOWN (C Cox)

Miss Show Down was similarly weak in the market in the same 5f sprint as Mademoiselle but showed enough to prove she had trained on and can progress from a lower mark of 75.  The 3YO filly struggled to find cover from her exposed draw but settled eventually and ran on well to finish a never-nearer 4th. Miss Show Down could improve for 6f on this showing, but is sure to progress from this seasonal debut. A faster run or stiffer 5f could also suit, like the recent win by her full sister Miss Show Off   CURRENT HOTLIST:
