TODAY'S TIPS (FRIDAY)
Dean Kilbryde picks just the one runner he's following to round off the working week. 15:35 ASCOT
Andrew Balding has won this race three times since 2020, including with a 20/1 shot last year, and runs both Galiyan and Level Look in a bid to add to his tally. The former was only beaten three lengths over track and trip when sixth in the Queens Vase in June and takes a marked step down in class having contested the St Leger when last seen, while the latter has impressed in his last two runs albeit both at much lower levels and on the AW. Both have a bit to prove and ready preference is for Infraad who arrives here having notched back-to-back wins in recent months, last seen staying on strongly to win the Melrose Handicap at York in August. He’s unbeaten in three with Tom Marquand in the saddle and looks to have plenty more to come.
