TODAY’S TIPS (MONDAY)

We head to Scotland for Monday’s best bets as pubdit Matt Polley pinpoints runners from Ayr he’s backing to kick start the week.

An intriguing two year old novice, where all five could realistically have winning chances.

Two unraced horse from decent yards are unknown quantities, and the other three with experience all ran well on their debuts, with likely improvement to come.

The horse that stands out however is Love Rome. He ventured to Newmarket from his Middleham base and show plenty behind a subsequent group two winner on his debut. Any natural improvement should be good enough.

A few course winners in this handicap sprint. Azuinthejungle went really close at Hamilton recently, and paid the price for a tardy start. Jim Goldies trio can never be comfortably ruled out, but the manner of White Ladders victory here a week ago, makes him difficult to oppose. This three year old looks an improver and he’s taken to dispatch this field of exposed types.
