Wolf Of Badenoch’s rating has been in freefall in the past year from 100 to sneaking in to this 0-60. He has been well-backed recently for his current trainer running on over shorter trips and on his breeding and debut win over Lazy Griff this 1m 3f trip could be just what he needs. This is a modest race but the favourite Is She Now has been in good form in a very busy spell and turns out again under a 4lb penalty and is respected.

An open handicap and the ex-French Sailor’s Return has been showing positive signs of late with an unlucky run at Doncaster last time. Course and distance winner Albeseeingyer was a good third here recently and the first and second have finished second and first subsequently. Softer going would help that mare but she still has a strong each-way chance here on a track that suits.
