With four places on offer I'm willing to take a chance on outsider Connie Moon for a yard that just had a 22-1 winner. The 4yo filly made a pleasing comeback and would be a lot shorter here but for for a blowout on soft/heavy that can be ignored. A third at Goodwood gives hope Brighton may suit.

Plenty of course and distance winners are in opposition with Gone Rogue the pick.

Mickey Mongoose has four course wins including two over the distance here and looks a solid bet against some disappointing types and maidens. Only Williams' charge has a good draw and Duran Fentiman on board who has won on him before. Distillate and Based look worthy opposition but their draws are offputting. Vitalline looks a worthy alternative.
