TODAY'S TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

Liam Hall looks at the two remaining meetings in the UK and Ireland with action from Carlisle and Naas to get stuck into this Wednesday. 14:00 CARLISLE

Five runners for the opening contest. Queen Of Christmas is the only one with a run under her belt, she was fifth and never really looked capable of landing a blow to the principles, stiffer finish should suit however. In The Black has the best pedigree on paper and represents a shrewd operation when it comes to first time out two year olds, if she knows her job she'll take some stopping.

IN THE BLACK (WIN)

19:40 NAAS

Listentodwindblow is the likely favourite here, the fact it's still a maiden after six attempts is off putting and the team continue to persivire with Maidens instead of handicaps suggest they think the mark he has is harsh. Krasmir is slightly lower rated but has gone much closer to winning, questions are starting to be asked if he's fully genuine or not. Two that could run well at each way prices would be Transcript, out of an Oaks winner you'd imagine this trip will be sharp enough but the sire does give you hope he could be sharp enough. Pinoroyale is closely related to a listed winner but the dam was an unraced sister to a German Derby winner, this one holds a nice mix of speed and stamina also.
