Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore have teamed up to win this race six times since 2011 and look to have an excellent chance of adding to that already impressive haul with Minnie Hauk. The filly ran well for second on debut, only beaten by a more experienced Joseph O'Brien runner who has since notched a Group 3 victory, before going one better with a strong, battling finish at Leopardstown when last seen in October. She won't have it all her own way as both That's Amore and Queen Of Thieves bring solid form in to the race, the former impressing when winning by six lengths on only racecourse visit to date and hailing from last years' winning yard, with the latter having won over this trip by eleven lengths in a four runner affair at Yarmouth two weeks ago, yet given the trainer record in the race and the fact that both faster ground and the step up in trip are expected to bring about improvement it's tough to get away from the early race favourite.

Another race that has been dominated in recent years by Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore (7 wins together since 2011) and while Lambourn looks to have a solid chance on the back of his second to stablemate Delacroix in the Group 3 Ballysax Stakes last month it was hard not to be impressed with Karl Burke's Convergent who looked to have plenty more to give following a near five length victory at Redcar last month, building on a similarly impressive debut at the end of last season.
The Johnston stable usually do well at the course so Group 3 winner Lazy Griff needs to be respected on his seasonal reappearance, as does Square D'Alboni who notched a hat-trick when finishing last season with a Listed win in France.
