The Paddy Power Chase takes centre stage at Cheltenham this Saturday with action from day two of the November meeting, plus an additional two races from Wetherby grace the ITV screens. 13:45 CHELTENHAM
Be Aware and July Flower both won on their chasing debuts and aim to remain unbeaten over the larger obstacles. Both of their recent victories came over a longer trip than today, and with the mud-soaked ground set to make this a gruelling test, their proven stamina should certainly be of benefit. With just the six runners, there's not much in the way of each-way value, although chasing debutant Burdett Road would be the one to go well at a bigger price.
The race looks to be split between the previously mentioned pair, and with a weight for sex allowance in play, it's the Irish raider July Flower who gets the vote.

Unfortunately, the hotly tipped Jagwar is no longer in the lineup, but that makes the race far more open.
The rain has continued to pour, and finding a horse who goes well in testing ground is a must; as such, the duo to opt for are Henry De Bromhead's Coming Up Easy and what seems to be Dan Skelton's second string Hoe Joly Smokes. The pair are proven on the ground and have both put in eye-catching recent performances. With a run already under their belt within the last few months, they may also have a fitness edge over some of their opposition.
Vincenzo, Theatre Native, and Conyers Hill look to be the best of the rest.

Despite the burden of top-weight, Gowel Road is now back to their last winning mark and despite disappointing on seasonal reappearance, has more in their favour today. Less weight, more suitable ground conditions, and hailing from an in-form yard could be the key to success.
Supremely West deserves the utmost respect and is set to go off a well-backed favourite and after yesterday's heroic ride, you couldn't dismiss Sean Bowen's mount Long Draw.
GOWEL ROAD (E/W)
15:10 WETHERBY
With such little form to go off it's safe to say you'd be struggling to be overly confident about backing any of the nine-runners with a degree of certainty. Last time out winners Cueros and Fresh Perspective rightly head the betting and it's interesting to see Patrick Mullins travel over from Ireland to take the mount on Cueros. Of the pair it's Cueros who'd be worth a bet but in a race like this it might be a better option to find a runner who could go well at a price.
Making their hurdles debut Minstrel Knight has proven flat form on very soft ground and if that could be a major factor if being able to cope with obstacles. A tentative each-way play on Ed Bethell's runner.

It'd be another fantastic piece of planning if Tony Martin's Hamsiyann were to win this race once again after last years success however a 10lb rise in weight and the heavy ground might be enough to ensure he doesn't retain his crown.
Despite a few non-runners this looks the toughest race on the card to call and it wouldn't be a shock to see any of the field finish in front.
The impressive Jurancon has done very little wrong in their career so far but at the current odds they're not an attractive betting proposition.
Further down the weights and the likes of Lavender Hill Mob and Give Him A Chance could do far better than the prices may lead you to believe.
Last Rodeo should be on everyone's shortlist and looks a viable each-way alternative.
Kap Boy is the one we're pinning our hopes to after an impressive victory last month. Handles the softer ground, is relatively lightly raced and might have more room to progress.

15:43 WETHERBY
A second behind the promising Be Aware who runs earlier in the day looks strong form for the Gavin Sheehan ridden Cerendipity. A former course winner who acts on softer ground they can go one better this time.
Fellow course victors Heltenham, Primoz and Parisencore look to be the biggest threat to the selection.
CERENDIPITY (WIN)
