Alan Morris returns with his weekly additions to the Racing Daily Hotlist where he pinpoints recent runners you need to be following. PRAIRIE QUEEN (S Gardner)

The free-going Prairie Queen ran well for a long way over 2m4f at Hereford last week despite her usual exuberance and as a filly rated only 74 she should be able to realise her potential soon, most likely over a shorter trip. It’s a quick turnaround but she is entered over just over 2m at Exeter on Tuesday. The stable can have well-backed runners and the market could be informative for the 5yo mare.

LORD WARBURTON (M Sowersby)

Lord Warburton must be affronted by his winning prices of 125-1 on the flat and 33-1 over jumps and the yard continue to be ignored in the market. The 8yo gelding often races prominently but was up in distance markedly to 2m 7f under exaggerated waiting tactics and ran on into 4th at 40-1 at Market Rasen this week. There still might be opportunities around Southwell on the flat over middle distances from a basement mark this winter but he is also rated 79 over hurdles. It will be interesting to see what distance and tactics will be employed next time but he should be one for a few repeated speculative investments at the likely odds. CURRENT HOTLIST:
