Neo King looks to be another dour stayer for Evan Williams to target regional Nationals with at least as a lightly-raced 7yo with point-to-point wins behind him. He hit a flat spot in Fontwell’s Southern National before finishing strongly in to second on Sunday. Adam Wedge excels in staying handicaps and should gel with the horse once he is back from injury. Soft ground seems no issue.

RULE ME IN (C WILLIAMS)

Rule Me In made a promising chase debut at Bangor-On-Dee this week over 2m 4f under a patient ride, losing considerable momentum when badly hampered 4 out. After a promising PTP debut he stayed on well to win his bumper on debut for Christian Williams who hasn’t wasted long in moving the 6yo gelding from hurdles to fences from an exploitable mark of 106. Soft ground seems no issue and is the type the yard do well with.
