Road To Home’s journey has not been entirely smooth and still looked a difficult ride on his chase handicap debut in another foray to the UK at Doncaster this week. However there still looks to be scope from his Irish and British handicap marks to improve and he is in good hands after only eight starts under rules. The 6yo gelding is worth another try over further and connections had positive words and plans after his maiden win and can get him back on track.

KALIUM (T VAUGHAN)

Kalium had an excellent novice campaign with three wins and ran well on seasonal debut this week at Doncaster to indicate there is still scope to improve. He was looked after in testing conditions late on. The 5yo gelding was previously pulled out on very soft ground at Cheltenham but that would have been a tough race over a longer distance and he has soft ground form and potential beyond 2m 3f. He was sold for 100K after his impressive debut NH flat race win in Ireland and Dan begin to repay that outlay.
