TODAY'S TIPS (MONDAY)

Matt Polley pinpoints runners from Stratford and Carlisle for his best bets this Monday. 13:40 STRATFORD

Lord Of Cheshire doesn’t have many miles on the clock for a nine year old, suggesting he may have had a few issues. He’s clearly talented, and should go well.

Major Fortune and particularly Petty Cash will enjoy the good ground, however, the vote goes to Sunshine Diamond.

He ran well behind a nice type on chase debut, and comes from a yard in form, and there’s also plenty of room with his handicap mark.

SUNSHINE DIAMOND (WIN)

14:27 CARLISLE

An open looking handicap, with a few trying to rediscover some form.

Gaelic Glow has some room for improvement off a basement mark, and has shown some signs of ability.

Nitty Gritty is another that comes under that same category, but the O’Neill yard usually have some success at this course, and the top weight Circuit Breaker looks a viable option.

He has some useful enough staying flat form in the context of this race, and if ridden positively over this distance, could see it out best of all.
