TODAY'S TIPS (THURSDAY)
Alan Morris hunts for value this Thursday with each-way selections he expects to outrun their odds at Ayr and Bath. 14:55 AYR
Lesley's Boy has slipped a long way in the weights but has found his form again and can progress beyond 0-60 now. Having run well over Hamilton's stiff 6f in testing conditions the 4yo gelding looks ready to try 7f again. The high draw is a slight concern but the price should reflect that doubt and gives us each-way leeway!
Launch Time and Big Apple Jack also look to be able to step out of this grade and should be feared.

Brilliant Star has strong claims and will be a warm order here. My fears may be unfounded but she has been fresh in the past and could be exuberant after a break, even with a tongue strap here. She was never really competitive in the Ribblesdale and may not be worthy of the ratings increase, running on past beaten horses. My overthinking has led me to believe Pierian looks good each-way value. Unraced at two, she has been developing quickly and looks well-suited to this trip on breeding and form analysis and runs for a yard that does well in this race.
