Live ITV action from Newmarket, Ascot and Goodwood to wet the appetite before what is set to be an action packed weekend at 'Flat HQ'. Pundit Rory Paddock previews all of the live racing this Friday. 14:20 NEWMARKET
Both Poseidon’s Warrior and My Love Is King filled the runner-up spot on their respective seasonal returns, finishing behind rivals who are currently well fancied for the Dante. That form sets a solid standard in what looks a modest five-runner contest.
The Gosden and Appleby representatives appear the standout pair on paper and, with limited depth elsewhere in the field, it would be no surprise to see them dominate proceedings from the outset.
With both expected to strip fitter for their reappearances, they look set to fight out the finish and fill the top two spots.

14:35 ASCOT
A stamina test over two miles that could offer early clues for the Ascot Gold Cup later in the season.
Sweet William sets a clear standard on form and is the most obvious selection based on his achievements, though the field size offers potential for each-way alternatives.
Tabletalk and Tarriance renew their rivalry after finishing second and third in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, and both are capable of being involved again. Of the pair, Tabletalk may have the edge and looks capable of making the frame once more.
At bigger odds, Ascending is an interesting contender. A previous course winner with experience across both codes, he could outrun expectations for Henry de Bromhead.

Comic Hero was sent off a strong favourite last time but failed to get a clear run when attempting to mount a challenge. That effort is best forgiven, though this represents a stronger contest.
With Oisin Murphy booked, improvement is expected, and he looks capable of bouncing back with a clearer passage.
The unbeaten trio of Zennor Storm, Objector and Fort Rock all bring potential, while Vincenzo Peruggia, Lake Como and St Anton add further depth to a competitive race.
It remains a contest to approach with caution, but Comic Hero is taken to fare better under more favourable circumstances.

15:10 ASCOT
The three-year-olds take centre stage in this Group 3, where speed over six furlongs will be decisive.
Wise Approach carries a penalty for his Group 1 success but still sets the standard based on his two-year-old form. He is taken to confirm superiority over Brussels, who once again looks likely to play a leading role but has developed a habit of finishing second.
If both have trained on, they should prove difficult to oppose.
Coppull and Division have place claims, while Crown Relic could appeal at bigger odds for those seeking value.
Wise Approach, however, looks the most solid option.

15:30 NEWMARKET
A small field of seven for this Group 2 limits each-way opportunities and makes finding value more challenging.
Lion’s Pride, from the Gosden yard, brings the benefit of a course-and-distance victory and is likely to be prominent in the market. Bay City Roller and Eydon also have strong claims, with the latter boasting previous success at Newmarket.
Santorini Star is taken to offer a slightly different angle. She has not finished outside the top two in her last three starts, including a Group 1 effort, and if ready to go after a 209-day break, could be competitive.
In a race lacking a standout, she looks worth chancing.

15:50 GOODWOOD
Crepe Suzette is likely to head the market following a solid placed effort in a Group race at Doncaster. There is plenty to like about her profile, though a lack of recent wins raises a slight concern at short odds.
Kissmehoneyhoney is more unexposed, having run only once, but that debut form has worked out well, with several behind her going on to perform strongly. She should have improved for that experience and could take a step forward here.
Ryka and Coedana also have the ability to get involved, but the unexposed nature and her prolific trainer makes Kissmehoneyhoney particularly interesting.

The most likely winner appears to come from top-weight Elarak and the consistent Golden Redemption, both of whom bring solid credentials into the race.
Elarak has proven course-and-distance form, while Golden Redemption continues to perform reliably and arrives off a good all-weather effort.
However, with eight runners declared, there may be value elsewhere. Leadman is taken as an each-way alternative, representing a yard in strong form and having previously scored at this track off a similar mark.
If reproducing that level, he could outrun his odds once again.
Shah and Silver Ghost are others to consider, but Leadman appeals most from a value perspective.
