A mammoth day of live action on ITV Racing this Saturday with a total of 12 races set to be broadcast. The Racing Daily team has previewed every single race and given their thoughts, analysis and tips. 13:40 NEWMARKET
The ladies kick off proceedings in this hot looking maiden where a case could easily be made for most of the runners.
It looks to be a race that'll throw up plenty of future winners but it's hard to ignore the form of trainer Charlie Appleby and jockey William Buick over the first two days of the meeting. They team up with Snow Light who, based on breeding alone, looks the one to beat.
The most likely to follow her home is Orion's Belt, Just Call Me Angel and Darkwing.
SNOW LIGHT (WIN)

Blue For You has been well supported in his last few starts without managing to deliver and we're hoping this is his day. A former course and distance winner who's won this race for the past two years and there's no reason why the David O'Meara trained runner can't go close once more.
Bottom-weight Remmooz holds a clear and obvious threat and for punters looking for a selection at bigger odds both Bopedro and La Trinidad could finish in the money.

The two to sided with as each-way options against the field look to be the William Buick ridden Royal Velvet who's put in a string of decent efforts so far this season, including over this course and Ed Walker's Saariselka who can be forgiven her Ascot effort and should build on the solid form she displayed earlier in the year.
Miss Nightfall is likely to be vying for favouritism and seems to hold a very strong hand.

My Cloud’s absence from this contest is a shame but it is still nonetheless intriguing. Never So Brave was unlucky at Chester but was a scintillating winner at Royal Ascot, when overcoming trouble. He could improve further. Prague shot up through the ranks last year and could be forgiven for his comeback at York. However, Haatem has mixed it in much better company than this and despite the drop in trip, he should have the measure of this field.
HAATEM (WIN)

Washington heights could be a warm order here having run in group races all season most recently a 7th placed field finish in the King Charles at Royal Ascot. It’s been a long time since he got his head in front and he’s a pass for me at the price.
JM Jungle is a model of consistency and loves it here at York. He’s out of handicap company today but this race is perfect for him, a good stepping stone and I think he will take a lot of beating at his favourite track. His 2nd to American Affair over C&D looks like good form now!
There’s not too much of an each way angle here in my opinion but if you were looking for one at a bigger price Seven questions wouldn’t be far away on some of his old form but he hasn’t been up to much of late.
JM JUNGLE (WIN)

More Thunder is likely to be very popular in the betting for the Bunbury Cup after finishing second in the Wokingham, he was doing his best work at the end and was only beaten by a free going front runner who had stolen some lengths on the field, has form over much further so the step back up to 7f won't be an issue. Akkadian Thunder was second at Royal Ascot also but his was in the Buckingham Palace over 7f, again staying on so is likely to be doing his best work at the finish again and should be thereabouts. Myal was 3.5 lengths behind Akkadian Thunder last time after suffering a bit of interference at a crucial point and is entitled to get alot closer, 4lb better off with this rival this time around.
MYAL (E/W)

15:10 YORK
Archivist looks to be a potential group horse that's currently hiding in handicap company and it may prove that a race such as this will be an easy enough test. A winner of their last two starts, including a previous victory here at York, off a low weight they'll be hard to beat.
Fellow course victor Mirabeau shouldn't be ignored but as an each way alternative to the selection Naqeeb can build upon their Royal Ascot third and pick up prize money once again.
ARCHIVIST (WIN)
NAQEEB (E/W)

Bedouin Prince has looked very classy in winning a maiden and a novice stakes but this is a tough race for his handicap debut, may find his stable mate Fifth Column tough to beat after he finished seventh in the Britannia at Royal Ascot, 1st of 10 in his group. That handicap experience could be crucial in a race like this. Raafed should show alot more than he did last time and could run into a minor place.
FIFTH COLUMN (WIN)

This looks to be all about the rock-solid stayer Al Qareem, who arguably posted something of a career best when routing his rivals by four and a half lengths in the Listed Grand Cup over course and distance four weeks ago. Trained by Karl Burke for the Nick Bradley Racing syndicate, Al Qareem has proved his versatility on quicker ground this season, winning the Listed Further Flight Stakes at Nottingham before chasing home the high-class Illinois in the Group 3 Ormonde Stakes at Chester in May. That's the best form on offer and with no track or ground concerns, he looks like he's going to prove tough to beat. The main danger can come from Tom Clover's Tabletalk, who should appreciate going back up in distance after finishing sixth in the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes.
AL QAREEM (WIN)
(Sam King)
16:00 NEWMARKET
Saba Desert made a winning debut at Sandown but that form has taken a few knocks. Stablemate, Wild Desert, won by five lengths on his debut and was only just denied here in June, when carrying a penalty. He could have more to offer. There is a lot of support behind Aidan O’Brien’s Italy, with some saying he could be the barn’s 2000 Guineas horse for next year. He looked smart on debut and that form has worked out well. He can certainly enhance his credentials today.
ITALY (WIN)

Lazzat and Satono Reve were well clear of the UK representatives in the Jubilee Stakes at Ascot and it will be disappointing if any of those in behind achieve Group One success here but if last year’s 2000gns winner Notable Speech cannot handle the drop to 6f here the race will be open to such disappointment! Shadow Of Light did not manage to handle it for connections in the Commonwealth Cup at 6-4 as a word of warning.
Looking back over Notable Speech’s entirely 1m career so far you can see a high cruising speed and acceleration and being ready to pounce ahead of the 7f pole and 7f looks almost ideal these days. He will need speed as well as class to triumph over 6f but if bookmakers feel keen to take him on his price might look generous at the winning post and against an average field it looks achievable.
Symbol Of Honour looks a clear 6f horse and the 3yo division looks strong this year with Sayidah Dariyan beating the Jubilee 4th Nighteyes well on Friday.
NOTABLE SPEECH (WIN)
SYMBOL OF HONOUR (E/W)

Holkham Bay wasn't far away when claiming fourth spot in the Wokingham and in what looks a weaker contest can go even close once again.
Fellow course and distance winner Blue Day as well as the Julie Camacho trained Germanic should be on anyone's shortlist as they have shown enough form to suggest they could pick up the pieces if some of the main protagonists fail to deliver.
